When you book a driving lesson with Drive N Learn Driving School, our instructors will pick and drop you from your home, work or school in Liverpool, Campbelltown or Fairfield areas. We can also take you and bring back when you book our vehicles for the driving test.
Instructors at Drive N Learn Driving School would usually pick students from one location (e.g., Train Station) and drop you off at a different location (e.g., your home) in the same or closest suburb. However, you need to notify us of this at the time of booking. We also prefer that you book your driving test for obtaining your drivers license at Gregory Hills, Liverpool or Wetherill Park centres
Drive N Learn Driving School currently has only automatic cars. However, we can arrange driving lessons in manual cars with our affiliates. Rates for manual lessons may vary and are usually higher for manual lessons.
Yes our driving school allows the learner to use their car can as long as the vehicle is road worthy as per RMS regulations. Please indicate your requirement at the time of booking the driving lesson. Student's car may also be used for the driving test for obtaining drivers license
Our prime objective is to teach safe driving techniques and therefore all our cars are fitted with dual controls for the safety of both driver learner and the driving instructor.
7. How many lessons do I need?
The number of driving lessons a learner may need depends on the student's learning ability and varies from student to student. Generally the younger students tend to learn quickly, however, once you take few lessons, your driving instructor would be in a better position to make a fair judgement and will inform you accordingly.
8. How long does it take to pass the driving test?
For younger drivers, RMS has worked out that 120 hours (min. 1 year) are usually required to master the driving skills. For older learners, this varies greatly on the student's learning ability and varies from student to student.
9. What if I have an overseas licence?
You will need a verification letter from your country's consulate/embassy to book a DKT and obtain a driver licence when you pass the driving test. Usually an experienced driver may not need as many lessons. Once you have taken the first lesson, your driving instructor would be in a better position to make a fair judgement and will inform you the areas that may require preparation for the driving test.
10. What is the best duration of a lesson?
In order to make quick progress and practice the lessons / techniques, 2 hours lessons are ideal (and work out cheaper as well), however, we understand that everyone has life commitments and may only be able to spare one hour for learning to drive most of the time. It is totally up to the student driver.
11. Does Drive N Learn Driving School offer evening and weekend lessons?
Drive N Learn Driving School understands that each student have other commitments during the working hours such as School/Uni commitments, work commitments, therefore, we specialize in evening and weekend driving lessons. Feel free to contact us and discuss your driving needs.
12. Can I use a test centre near me to take the driving test?
As we serve Liverpool, Fairfield, Campbelltown areas, our students' usually book the drivers license test at Gregory Hills, Liverpool or Wetherill Park driver testing centres.
